of a balance that was meant to bring peace
a constant struggle of power
to prevent the dominance of a single piece
a light so blinding
only the holy may see
purging the shade
of the binary sea
the devouring darkness
crusades for its reign
sin drenched into the land
from a tainted black rain
war raging eternally
the balance will always lapse
a constant wavering
whirling within the spiral of infinite laps

I don't know if I actually like this piece. I knew what I wanted to write about but I gave myself an extra challenge by requiring the use of homophones. (words that sound the same but have different meanings or spellings) It was a fun, difficult and a good test to get past some of my writers block. Plus I liked the idea of being able to represent different points of view as if seen from each side of the yin-yang, hope that makes sense. haha
This year has been very strange. A lot of bad and now finally some good but there are always those waves; Guiding you up and down while you are just stuck along for the ride. Made me think of a Yin-Yang's flow and the constant battle within my mind. This is forever.
